Türk Müziği kayıt tarihinde kemençe tınısı, ses kayıt teknolojileri ekseninde ve kişisel tercihler doğrultusunda farklılıklar göstermiştir. Bu farklılık, mikrofonlama tekniklerinden kullanılan donanım ve yazılıma, çalgıların yapısal farklılığından icra biçimlerine kadar çok sayıda değişkenin neticesi olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Kemençe tınılarının farklılıkları bağlamında, günümüzün teknolojik imkanları çerçevesinde yapılacak olan kayıtlardaki tınısal çeşitliliğin analizi ile, Tanburî Cemil Bey’den günümüze, kemençenin müzikal seyrinin gözlemlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tınısal çeşitliliğin ortaya konulabilmesi için, Tanburî Cemil Bey’den günümüze kadar kayıt edilmiş solo kemençe icralarından yapılacak bir seçkiden alınan ses örnekleri, spektrum analizi yöntemiyle tınısal bileşenlerine indirgenecektir. Spektrum analizi sonuçları ile tespit edilen tınısal farklılıklar, yaklaşık bir asırlık sürecin duysal zevkinin seyrine ışık tutacaktır. Bununla beraber, özellikle icracıların, ses teknisyenlerinin ve çalgı yapımcılarının mesleki gelişimine de katkı sağlanmış olunacaktır. Ayrıca, kayıt biçimi ve koşullarının önemli bir duysal etken olduğu kabul edilerek yapılan analiz sonuçlarını karşılaştırmak suretiyle, Tanburî Cemil Bey’den günümüze İstanbul kemençesi kayıtlarındaki tınısal benzerlik ve farklılıklarının tespiti gerçekleşmiş olacaktır.
MEASUREMENT AND COMPARISON OF THE TIMBRAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE RECORDINGS OF THE İSTANBUL KEMENÇESİ FROM TANBURÎ CEMİL BEY TO MODERN ERA THROUGH THE METHOD OF SPECTRUM ANALYSIS
The timbral characteristics of kemençe has differed throughout the history of the recording of Turkish Music within the scope of the timbre of the kemençe, the different recording technologies and personal choices. These variations stem from many reasons such as the different equipment and software used microphoning techniques, the structural differences of the instruments, and the different styles musical performance. The goal is to observe the musical progress of the kemençe from the times of Tanburî Cemil Bey to modern era within the scope of today's technology and within the context of the differences between the timbres of kemençes through the analysis of the timbral diversity of the recordings. In order to present the timbral diversity, sound samples taken from an anthology of solo kemençe performances from the era of Tanburî Cemil Bey to modern era through the spectrum analysis method will be broken down to their timbral components. The timbral differences, which are determined through the spectrum analysis results will shed light on almost a hundred years of journey of the aural pleasure. In addition, a contribution will be made to the professional development to the performers, sound technicians, and instrument makers. Also, the comparison of analysis results, where the method and the conditions of recording will be accepted as an important aural factor, it will be possible to determine the timbral similarities and the differences in the recordings of the İstanbul kemençesi from the era of Tanburî Cemil Bey to the modern era.
