Özet

With the opening of GNSS for civilian use, it has been used in many applications in forest areas. These studies are determination of the property boundary in the forest, determination of the mine site boundary, forest roads or highway construction etc. applications. The aforementioned works must be carried out meticulously and implemented to cause the least damage in forest. Precise measuring method and equipment should be used in studies to be carried out in forest areas. In this study, it is aimed to determine the appropriate measurement method for the measurement to be made in forest areas with GNSS. In this context, the compatibility of the coordinate values determined by CORS and static measurement method in the selected forest area with the location values obtained by the terrestrial technique was statistically examined. Vegetation in forest or wooded areas is known to interfere with or attenuate GNSS signals, causing multipath-induced positioning errors. In the region where the horizon is partially open, the position of the CORS method was determined with a precision of a few cm. However, integer ambiguity was resolved in 20-25 minutes or longer in densely forested areas or tree canopies, and it was observed that the precision in determining coordinates deteriorated. On the other hand, when the data obtained from the fast static measuring method of approximately 30 minutes was processed in the Topcon Magnet Tools software, the point position was calculated with a standard deviation of 8-33 mm. This shows the advantage of static measurement when measuring times are taken into account in position determination.
