Abstract

The low-energy modes of Nickel isotopic chain are calculated in the framework of self-consistent Hartree Fock BCS and QRPA approximation with Skyrme SLy4 interaction. The relationship between the neutron skin thickness and low-energy modes are investigated along the Nickel isotopic chain. A strong correlation is found between the low-energy modes and neutron skin thickness of nuclei.
