Assoc. Prof. Ahmet Yiğit ARABUL

Assoc. Prof. Ahmet Yiğit Arabul received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yildiz Technical University in 2008, 2011, and 2016, respectively. Within the same department, he served as a Research Assistant from 2010 to 2020, an Assistant Professor from 2020 to 2023, and has been an Associate Professor since 2023.

During this period, he has held several administrative positions at Yildiz Technical University, including Co-Head of Department, Faculty Communication Coordinator, Alumni Co-Coordinator, Assistant Manager of Research and Application Center and Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department, and he currently serves as an Advisor to Vice-Rector.

Between 2022 and 2023, Arabul served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo in Canada under the TÜBİTAK 2219 – International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program.

He has been involved in numerous research projects and has over 40 publications, 14 of which are indexed in SCI-E.
He has supervised 1 completed Ph.D. theses and 2 completed M.Sc. theses and currently supervises 4 Ph.D. and 8 M.Sc. theses.

His research interests include electrical machines, transformers, renewable energy systems, and high voltage.
