Biography
Asst. Prof. Dr. Mert Akın İnsel graduated as the top student of his department and second in his faculty from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. He continued his graduate and doctoral studies at the same university and successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation in 2025, titled "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Energy Production." His research focuses on computer-aided modeling, simulation, and optimization in chemical engineering. He particularly works on enhancing process efficiency and accuracy through artificial intelligence, machine learning, and image processing techniques. Additionally, he actively participates in multidisciplinary projects and investigates the integration of numerical methods in solving engineering problems.
